Raipur, November 10, 2025 /Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai released senior journalist Shri Shankar Pandey’s latest book “Chhattisgarh: From the Past to the Present” at his official residence in the state capital.
Commending Pandey’s work, the Chief Minister praised his effort to encapsulate the historical journey of Chhattisgarh through a single volume. He extended his congratulations and best wishes, noting that such literary contributions help preserve the region’s cultural and historical legacy for future generations.
Shri Pandey informed the Chief Minister that this is his sixth book centered on Chhattisgarh. The work compiles information on the state’s great personalities, tourist destinations, ancient history, royal lineages, and temple heritage. It also documents several lesser-known aspects of the state, alongside detailed accounts of all former Chief Ministers, Governors, major political events, leading politicians, and noted litterateurs.
Present on the occasion were Ms. Priyanka Kaushal, Shri Vishal Yadav, Ms. Sneha Pandey, and Master Ansh Pandey.
